Walmart extends deal with Pawp
Last year, Walmart said it will offer Walmart+ subscribers free access for one year to Pawp’s telehealth service, which enables pet owners to connect with vet professionals.
The company is now announcing that it will continue to offer the service free of charge following the high redemption rate – 75% of Walmart+ members own a pet.
According to a report by the WSJ, Walmart had ~59 million Walmart+ subscribers in October 2022.
“Our focus has always been on evolving Walmart+ in a way that puts our members first. Seeing how well-received Pawp was as a limited-time offer, we knew it was a valuable addition that would enhance the Walmart+ experience. This new benefit illustrates our continued evolution, as we strive to provide seamless, time-saving and affordable solutions tailored to our members’ needs.” – Venessa Yates, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart+.
