Scribe raises $25 million
Scribe, a San Francisco-based platform for documenting and sharing business processes, has secured $25 million in a Series B funding round led by Redpoint Ventures, with participation from New York Life Ventures, Amplify Partners, Tiger Global, and XYZ Ventures.
Founded in 2019, Scribe’s recorder helps users create step-by-step guides. Users hit the record button, perform the desired task, and stop recording. The solution then generates a document with written instructions and step-by-step screenshots.
The startup says that its solution helped over 1 million teams uplevel their work — from scaling startups to over 97% of the Fortune 100 companies, including New York Life.
“Scribe has established itself as a crucial tool in any modern organization. As companies seek ways to bridge the gap between in-person, remote and hybrid work, easily and accurately sharing information on how to get things done is more crucial than ever. Scribe breathes new life into the knowledge management category by providing a delightful experience to the infamously manual, time-intensive process of sharing how to do something.” – Logan Bartlett, Managing Director at Redpoint.
