Smile expands operations to the Spanish market

Helvetia , a Swiss online insurer, is expanding Smile to Spain, following its launch in Austria a year ago.

This marks a significant step in Smile’s international growth. Initially offering liability insurance for e-scooters, electric scooters, e-bikes, and similar vehicles with a maximum speed of 25 km/h, this move aims to introduce Spanish customers to Smile’s offerings.

In 2024, Smile plans to broaden its product range in collaboration with Caser and Helvetia Seguros, leveraging their extensive experience in developing innovative products in Spain.
