Zurich acquires SpearTip

Zurich Holding Company of America, part of Zurich , has bought SpearTip , a firm that combats cyber threats with proactive measures and response tactics.

With this move, Zurich Resilience Solutions, under Zurich’s Commercial Insurance Business, can offer broader cyber risk management services in an era where cyber threats are rampant.

Tom Fioretti, who leads North America Zurich Resilience Solutions, mentioned that both entities prioritize guarding businesses against cyber threats and ensuring they’re equipped to handle attacks. This acquisition is about beefing up cybersecurity for their US clients. Zurich Resilience Solutions has its own team focused on evaluating and boosting business cybersecurity. SpearTip, in the game since 2005, pinpoints cyber risks and weak spots. They’re known for managed detection and immediate action, tackling incidents and digital forensics, and providing advisory services.
