The Connected Pet Company appoints new CMO
The Connected Pet Company, parent company of pet insurance brands Toto Pet Insurance and Felix Cat Insurance, has appointed Stephanie N. Blahut as chief marketing officer.
In 2015, Blahut joined Figo Pet Insurance as the director of digital marketing and marketing technology. There she spent five years building and optimizing the digital, direct-to-consumer acquisition strategy, as well as managing content marketing and related digital channels. Figo was acquired by JAB Holding Company in October 2021.
Most recently, in 2020, Blahut co-founded B2Z Insurance, a digital-first small business insurance startup. B2Z was acquired by Acrisure in September 2022.
“Stephanie brings to our team incredible digital sales and marketing expertise combined with deep skills in marketing technology and web development. In particular, her proven past experience in the pet insurance industry will aid us in improving and scaling our digital distribution model to serve a growing book of business.” – Rick Faucher, CEO and co-founder of The Connected Pet Company.
“I’m elated to join The Connected Pet Company – as Rick and team have worked diligently to launch two smart pet insurance brands in Felix and Toto, along with the aggregator Shop Pet Insurance. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves to help improve the digital conversation and experience for pet parents seeking valuable coverage. The pet insurance landscape has changed significantly since my time at Figo, but the industry mission remains constant: Increasing the accessibility of pet insurance to support pet parents in making medical decisions that are therapeutic in nature, rather than financially motivated.” – Stephanie N. Blahut.
