Wannacry yet Tryg is Laughing

Good times over at Tryg. The Danish insurer is reporting a jump in cyber insurance policies sold this past quarter compared to Q1. “We think that for both big and small businesses it will become just as normal to have a cyber insurance as it is to have a fire insurance” – chief executive Morten Hubbe.

Also, the insurer plans (1) to develop new cyber insurance products to adjust policies to the client’s needs rather than launch an all-inclusive product from the beginning and (2) grow its cyber business via acquisitions.
