Payroll and benefits startup Catch is shutting down
In an email sent to customers earlier today, Catch announced it is shutting down next month – on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
After 6-7 years in business and $18 million in funding, the startup (a team of ~29 according to LinkedIn data) shared that it isn’t able to continue operating in the current market.

Founded in 2016 and led by Andrew Ambrosino and Kristen Anderson, Catch was a tool for the self-employed to automatically route their income — for free — to accounts including taxes, retirement, and savings, while getting access to health insurance.
