UK-Based By Miles Raises Seed Round Ahead of Launch

London-based By Miles announced it has raised £350,000 in a Seed round led by Hambro Perks and InMotion Ventures; to name two . The startup, established by James Blackham and Callum Rimmer, will offer pay-per-mile insurance with a driving app. “While we’re focusing on solving insurance for lower mileage drivers now, there’s no reason why our technology couldn’t be repackaged for higher mileage policies too. In the future, we may also look into offering fleet insurance or private hire insurance by the mile” – cofounder and chief technology officer of By Miles, Callum Rimmer.
