Nirvana Health raises $7.5 million
Nirvana Health, the startup offering a platform to manage mental health insurance claims more efficiently, has raised a $7.5 million seed extension round led by Inspired Capital. Existing investors Eniac Ventures, RTP Seed and Arc Ventures also participated. To date, Nirvana has raised around $12 million.
Founded in 2020, the NY-based startup offers therapists a platform to file insurance claims and track payments, and it is also capable of filing insurance claims on behalf of people receiving therapy.
Therapists submit their practice notes as usual and Nirvana’s experts handle the client’s medical insurance claims. Therapists can then track payments and statuses through a personalized dashboard. The cost of the service is $129/mo per therapist.
