Tribe picks up BearingPoint as investor

Tribe, the Oslo-based P2P insurance scheme, has picked up management and tech consultancy firm BearingPoint as its investor. Additional details were not provided. Either way, the idea of Tribe is that it’s better to get insurance ‘in tribes’ as in ‘with peers’. How much better? At least 5% less than one’s current premium.

Recall: Tribe was established in 2016 by Rune Brunborg and has since raised $1 million in a seed round .
