180° Insurance partners with Zul+
Brazilian insurance startup 180° Insurance is partnering with parking app Zul+ to launch an on-demand insurance product that offers coverage for personal items left in cars parked on the street.
Once users park their car, they can purchase coverage that will remain active until they turn it off. The product was developed in response to the current behavior of some Brazilian drivers who fear street parking due to robberies.
The product costs around 9 cents an hour and the maximum payout is around $185. Claims can be initiated through WhatsApp or phone. Coverage is provided by Tokio Marine Brazil.
