Insurance Solutions Manager (U.S.)

Trōv is seeking a talented insurance professional who wants to be on the leading edge of insurance innovation. Our ideal candidate will have a balanced skill set including technical insurance knowledge, established market relationships, superb interpersonal skills, an ability to work cross-functionally, and a passion for insurance innovation.

This position is remote in the US.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Actively market to, grow, and expand the relationships with Trōv’s carrier partners across the US
  • Managing complex sales, onboarding, renewal and expansion processes for clients, carriers, and TPAs
  • Effectively collaborating with other teams at Trōv and external partners to bring innovative products to market
  • Developing compelling insurance collateral that is presented to insurance carriers and clients
  • Leading the end-to-end process to deliver a bespoke insurance solution for each client working with Trōv teams and carrier partners
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for Trōv’s key accounts, helping them with insurance related queries and delivering exceptional service.

You Have/Are:

  • 7+ years working in commercial or personal lines insurance with experience in a core product or customer focused role (e.g broker, underwriter, business development, consulting, client manager)
  • Strong technical insurance knowledge — pricing, coverages, structure, risk profile. Industry designations (e.g. CPCU) a plus.
  • Background launching digital insurance solutions for the modern consumer with a lens for creating new features, coverages, or a product with high up-take rates
  • Strong sales, marketing, and communication skills are critical; must be able to demonstrate successful creation and management of external relationships
  • Exceptionally organized, personally accountable, and able to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross functionally beyond core role with product, actuary, executives, engineering, and business development
  • Enthusiasm for innovation, technology, and change within the insurance industry

You’ll Stand Out From the Crowd If You Have:

  • Previous insurtech experience
  • Deep carrier relationships brokering in affinity model placements (e.g. 3rd party distribution) for personal lines
