Digital Marketing Analyst

Do you have a passion for digital media and enjoy using your technical skills to develop marketing campaigns? In this unique role, you will be responsible for leading email marketing, landing pages, and website development to support the company’s overall digital strategy and will work closely with the Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications and IT teams.

The Digital Marketing Analyst will lead the email marketing program and will be responsible for all aspects of an email campaign, including HTML/CSS build, development of requirements, testing and will also manage the company’s Email Service Provider (ESP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget.

This person will be responsible for the following email related duties:

  • Manage the end-to-end process to develop and execute emails to agents, current customers and prospects using HTML & inline CSS. Prepare emails, import data, validate distributions lists, perform QA testing, etc.
  • Perform rendering testing via Litmus to ensure that email functionality works within a variety of browsers and devices
  • Launce new and manage existing email campaigns in Automation Studio and Journey Builder
  • Understand and manage email databases to maintain data accuracy
  • Ensure all emails follow best practices and are CAN-SPAM compliant
  • Contribute to other projects as needed

This person will be responsible for the following web page development duties:

  • Design new and edit existing content to the websites via the Content Management System (CMS), OpenText
  • Create HTML and CSS for the corporate websites and landing pages
  • Design, develop, manage and optimize landing pages to continuously improve performance
  • Identify issues and engages the appropriate teams as necessary
  • Have knowledge of SEO best practices and partner with the SEO manager to recommend and implement best practices
  • Contribute to other projects as needed


Core Responsibilities:

  • Have a strong understanding HTML/CSS and responsive design
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive business requirements for all projects
  • Ensure user experience and best practices are taken into account throughout all development
  • Develop and execute detailed testing strategies to increase performance metrics
  • Work with the IT department to convey technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
  • Participate in user testing of digital assets



  • Bachelor’s degree in web design, marketing or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a corporate CMS
  • 3+ years of experience with coding, testing and deploying campaigns within an ESP. ExactTarget experience is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience manage a third party landing page vendor including. Ion Interactive or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, CSS, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and a web analytics (Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics) tool a plus
  • Strong interest in the latest technology, industry trends and best practices for digital marketing. Very open to learning new digital publishing and email marketing tools.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting concepts and deliverables to internal and external clients and vendors.
  • Ability to work autonomously and have excellent attention to detail. Must be highly motivated.
