Amodo provides emergency call and crash reconstruction through a partnership with Bosch

Bosch and Amodo cooperate to develop new services and provide even more value to the clients of both companies.

Amodo platform supports a telematics program based on telematics devices such as OBD, Smartphones, and as of recently based on Bosch Bluetooth device.

Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions Gmbh TEP Bluetooth devices have integrated algorithm for a reliable determination of the crash severity, built on the vast experience in building and testing airbags. Based on its measurements and the predefined thresholds, the device can trigger an emergency call (E-Call). This service is standard in Germany, and e-call is already part of the security standard in the European Union.

The device will also serve as a “tag”, connecting an insured car with the person, as well as help to build more comprehensive insight into the crash reconstruction for the benefit of Insurance companies.
